Christmas, Jazz Game, Wedding, & Birthday

Sorry it's been so long since my last post. A lot has happened, so you would think I would have had many excuses to do a new post, but I've just been too busy. I tried to recap most of the last 6 weeks below.

Christmas

We went up to Salt Lake with Casey's family for Christmas and had a lot of fun, despite the blizzard. It did not stop snowing the whole time.

Jazz Game

We decided to fight the snow one day while in Salt Lake and go to the Jazz game with my sister DeeNa and her friend Mike. I guess the snow didn't stop us because we had really good seats. Believe it or not, the Jazz actually won that game.

Lee & Desi's Wedding

My brother Lee got married on December 27th. A few weeks before the wedding, we did a wedding shower for my new sister-in-law Desi. The wedding day was quite an adventure as we went from Casey's parent's house in Salt Lake to the frozen land of Manti for the temple ceremony, up to Payson for the reception, and down to Cedar to spend the night (we didn't quite make it to St George). Congrats Lee & Desi!

My Birthday

We celebrated my 25th birthday a week ago. We went up to my parent's house in Cedar and had a lot of good food and played rockband. Ha, sounds like an amazing party, right?

Jazz Tree

I know its been forever before i have updated. I was getting pressure from everyone (becky)to update haha. It has just been so busy this month, but there is no excuses. One of my goals for the new year to update the blog more often. Well the story behind this tree is that we needed to buy a tree and decorations because it's our first Christmas together. When I asked Casey how we should decorate it, naturally he said that we should do a Jazz tree. He was shocked when I actually agreed to it and I'm glad we did. It turned out better than I thought and eventually when we have a bigger house, we can put it in the basement or something. Now if only this tree would help them get healthy and win some games!

Halloween

Even though we love Halloween, we didn't really think of what to dress up as. About an hour before we went to my uncle's house, Casey got out his old football jerseys from high school, so we were football players! We kind of did it as a joke at first, but it actually turned out better than we thought and was a lot of fun. Too bad not many trick-or-treaters came by our house because now I'm stuck eating all of the candy! Lucky me!
